Piedmont Farm Tour
With over 30 farms across Orange, Durham, Chatham, Person, and Alamance counties participating, the Piedmont Farm Tour is a fantastic opportunity to experience the local agricultural scene. From 2–6 PM on April 26 and 27, you can tour various farms throughout the area and discover where your food truly comes from. Admission options vary depending on which farm(s) you choose to explore. This event is perfect for families, food enthusiasts, and anyone curious about sustainable farming practices.
Hillsborough Garden Tour
Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature with the Centennial Hillsborough Garden Tour hosted by the Hillsborough Garden Club. This special event presents 10 exquisite private gardens, six of which are attached to historic homes over 100 years old. In addition, three public gardens maintained by garden club members are part of the tour. Tickets are for sale ranging from $35-$40 on April 27-28. Don’t miss this enchanting experience on May 3!
Fridays on the Front Porch
Kick off your weekends in style with the return of Fridays on the Front Porch at The Carolina Inn. Running every Friday from May through October, this cherished event offers live music, mouthwatering food trucks, specialty beverages, and plenty of seating on the shaded front porch and picturesque lawn of the Inn. The 2025 season begins on May 2, so gather your friends, savor the outdoor ambiance, and celebrate the warmer days ahead.
